Proposed mixed-use infill coming to block surrounded by N Park Ave, E North St and Leon in the historic Lockerbie district. Fantastic to see the infill in downtown Indy rising to more than 4-5 stories. If the project is built as proposed, it should add a great deal of density to Lockerbie and an influx of 300-400 residents to the Mass Ave neighborhood, further bolstering the potential of street vibrancy.
It’d be fantastic to see Mass Ave make the leap from solely local businesses/boutiques to a business district with a wide-array of commercial properties. I can realistically see something like a CityTarget or an Urban Outfitters easily supported by the neighborhood currently, cementing downtown’s reputation as a place to live, work, and shop and mitigating the reliance on distant suburban shopping centers for consumerism.
